Preemie quilts
are made by guild members and donated to the Rich Little Neo-natal
Care Unit. These quilts are made with love and given out to babies
born prematurely. They supply them with comfort, warmth and the
feeling of security.
Preemie quilts should be no more than 24" x 24"
and made of 100% cotton fabric and thread. Do not use nylon
thread (it cuts the little fingers). They should be lightweight,
cozy and cheerful to look at. Flannelette backing is popular as
is novelty prints such as puppies, kittens, balloons etc. You
may also consider making preemie quilts for special holidays.
A preemie quilt is a great way to try a new block patten. Use
your imagination and don't forget to sign your preemie quilt.
Preemie quilts when finished may be dropped off at the charity
table at the guild meetings where they will be picked up and later
delivered to the babies. If you have any questions don't hesitate
to speak with Annette Tobalt or Brenda Payer.
Thank you for your generous support of the Preemie Quilt Program.
Victoria Quilts

a volunteer organization that provides hand-made quilts
to cancer patients and cancer treatment facilities.
